Meet The Team

Lanissa Spoon started mentoring young women over 8 years ago and, after graduating with a Bachelor in Ministerial Leadership, knew the Lord was asking her to be brave and take her dream of Becoming Ministries to the next level.

Lanissa enjoys writing, speaking, baking, spending time outdoors (EXCEPT RUNNING) and laughing/loving with her friends and newlywed hubby Ryan. She secretly wishes she was funny enough to be a comedian, but appreciates her husband loving her anyways.

Lanissa loves nothing more than seeing teen-20something women come to the realization that God wants to do something powerful in their life, starting now & then letting Him. Having people in her corner who believed in her and who God called her to be has changed her life, and her heart is to create resources and a community like that for all young women.

Makaela Hall is a 20something, interior design major at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Her love for writing, young women and design makes her a perfect fit for the Becoming Ministries Team.

She is a family oriented, extremely organized, Jesus lover with a little bit of sass (perfect combo). She loves reading, going on adventures, traveling, #allthecoffee, laughing and being able to relax.

“I’m apart of Becoming Ministries because I’m eager to see teen-20something young women Become the woman God has called them to be. I think it’s extremely important to listen to your purpose the Lord has given you and live it out to the fullest. I love being in a community of young ladies who are wanting more of God and growing deeper into Him on a daily basis!”
